League Winners
Well done to Ballyboro Under 12's who finished top of the table, Camlin Utd came second with Ardagh Utd finishing third.
Camlin Utd. beat Ballymahon in a close fought play-off on Monday night to win the Under 13 Title.
Ballymahon have won the Under 14 League after winning all bar one of their back matches. Mostrim Utd. were a very close second.
Killoe Celtic have wrapped up the Under 15 eague Title with a 100% record, Ballymahon pushed them all the way and finished in the Runners-Up position.

Referees Course
REFEREE’S BEGINNER’S COURSE – 24TH/25TH MAY
The course is open to male and female over 16 years of age and interested in refereeing at 7 a side or 11 a side. Those already refereeing at 7 a side and have not completed course should now complete course and anyone wishing to referee at 11 a side must first complete course. Course will held over two days, on Saturday 24th May and Sunday 25th May and will cost €50 at a venue to be announced. Under 14 Connaught Shield Final
Ballina 2 Stonepark 0
Danny O Connell's Stonepark put up a great dispaly in this final against a Ballina team that has won its Cup and League double undeated. Stonepark played off of a small panel and the lads should be very proud of their achievment in reaching this stage of the compitition.

YEARBOOK MAGAZINE
The magazine was launched officially on December 10th, 2007. Purchase can be done through any member of the committee and directly from the Officer's of each Club. The Yearbook Magazine would be a nice present for families and friends of current and past players, coaches, and, indeed, anyone who has invested time in Longford schoolboy football through the years. The magazine is intended to capture the spirit of the League in the 2006-2007 season. Revenue generated from sales will be an important source of funds for the League. Every club will be represented with articles and photographs. In addition, there will be articles of interest on such matters as "Bygone Years", "LDSSL Rolls of Honour", "Kennedy Cup" and a host of others. Kindly support the LDSSL through purchase of the magazine. At a cost of 10 euro it represents very good value for money...

Can all Managers of 7 and 11-A-Side teams text in the results of their matches within an hour of the game finishing to Jim Keating at 086-8954323. If we can all do this then the website tables will be updated by Sunday Evening. At this time of year all the players are pestering their managers to what the state of play is in each Division, if the results come in early then the League will make the commitment to have the Results, tables and fixtures updated by Monday morning at the latest. There are currently just under 1500 hits to the website every week with up to date information this hit ratio will increase giving the league and each club more publictity.
